When it comes to determining a personal nutrition plan, it seems like every week, another book or article comes out about a new diet or food fad. You’ve heard it all: Atkins, Zone, Ornish, paleo, etc. Should you go vegan or gluten free? Or eat only raw foods? Do you really need to buy everything organic? What about supplements and “super foods”? What’s the skinny on sugar?

With all the conflicting food news, even I get confused. Everyone is different and a diet that works for one person may not work for another. A food that makes you feel good at one time might make you feel sick another time. It’s important to see the bigger picture and decide what’s best for you at any given time. When we work together, I will deconstruct food theories and give you the bottom line. From the common basic principles, you’ll become empowered to make your own food choices that align with your individual physiology and optimize your health. You’ll become more aware of what your body needs and its response to food and cravings. Learn about new foods and have fun experimenting with different healthy recipes!
