October Workshops

It’s officially FALL! Before you start hibernating, join me for a couple FREE movement workshops at the libraries this month!

MOVEMENT IN ACTION 10/17/26 from 1-2pm

Do you find yourself sitting in front of a computer for most of the day? Is it challenging to find time to exercise?

The recommended 150 minutes of exercise a week may sound intimidating and impossible. In this workshop, learn how to incorporate bursts of simple activity into your life to increase movement and mobility.

Practicing taichi regularly can improve balance and coordination, increase energy and stamina, reduce stress, and calm the mind. Come learn about the fundamental taichi principles and basic taichi movements. Even if you’ve participated before, you’re welcome to come again to practice, review, and learn new movements. This workshop will involve active participation so please wear loose, comfortable clothing.
