INTRO TO TAICHI

Good news! I’ll be giving another FREE “Intro To Taichi” workshop in July!

Have you ever been curious about the groups of people doing taichi in the park? Do you want to improve your strength and balance without having to go to the gym? Do you need a way to calm your mind while doing something active?

This is the workshop for you!

Taichi is an ancient Chinese martial art that exercises the mind and body through slow movements. Practicing taichi regularly can improve balance and coordination, increase energy and stamina, reduce stress, and calm the mind. Come learn about the fundamental taichi principles and basic taichi movements. Even if you’ve participated before, you’re welcome to come again to practice, review, and learn new movements. This FREE workshop will involve active participation so please wear loose, comfortable clothing.

WHEN: Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 10:30-11:30am

LOCATION:
Algona-Pacific Library meeting room
