MOVEMENT IN ACTION 5/24/25 from 12-1pm
Do you find yourself sitting in front of a computer for most of the day? Is it challenging to find time to exercise?
The recommended 150 minutes of exercise a week may sound intimidating and impossible. In this workshop, learn how to incorporate bursts of simple activity into your life to increase movement and mobility.

QIGONG 6/28/25 from 2-3pm
Qigong (pronounced “chee-gong”) is an “energy exercise” that connects the mind and body to promote healing. Learn to use your breath in a simple practice to help circulate your body’s energy and connect with others. You will leave this workshop feeling both energized and relaxed! Even if you’ve come before, you’re welcome to come again. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing.

INTRO TO TAICHI 7/26/25 from 2-3pm
Taichi is an ancient Chinese martial art that exercises the mind and body through slow movements. Practicing taichi regularly can improve balance and coordination, increase energy and stamina, reduce stress, and calm the mind. Come learn about the fundamental taichi principles and basic taichi movements. Even if you’ve participated before, you’re welcome to come again to practice, review, and learn new movements. This workshop will involve active participation so please wear loose, comfortable clothing.

LISTEN TO YOUR GUT 8/23/25 from 12-1pm
Do you suffer from bloating, reflux, or abdominal pain?
In this workshop, we will discuss why the gut is so important, explore common gut ailments, and reflect on what your gut may be telling you. You will learn how to be more in tune with your gut and make better choices towards health.
