Taichi & Bonsai
I will be partnering with the Pacific Bonsai Museum to present a wonderful evening of Taichi and Bonsai. Upon arrival, you’ll walk a ⅓ mile wooded trail that will transport you from the everyday and deliver you to the threshold of the magical. You’ll breathe woodsy air and look up to find towering conifers all around as you stroll through the exquisite bonsai collection and prepare your mind for the taichi class. The approximately 60-minute class will cover fundamental taichi principles and basic taichi movements. Post-class, you’ll refresh yourself with tea, kombucha and water while the evening light streams through the trees around you.
This event will involve active participation so please wear loose, comfortable clothing.
Price: $20 PBM Members / $25 non-members. Please pre-register here to ensure a spot in the class.
WHEN: Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 5:30-7pm

This sounds wonderful and I definitely plan on coming. Is it necessary to prepay?
No need to prepay. See you there!
Hi Katie, I was mistaken and you will in fact need to pre-register. Here is the link to do so: https://pacificbonsaimuseum.z2systems.com/np/clients/pacificbonsaimuseum/eventRegistration.jsp?event=69&&fbclid=IwAR3tTm5zMlvvppf1t7TI54DFFqtQ5FBzi854y8UtoULsxaMADf___v9_9to
I will also update the event information on my website. See you there!
Question. Does one need to have tai chai experience to benefit and participate from this class?
No prior taichi experience needed. Hope to see you there!
My neighbor just sent info on Tai Chi & Bonsai. Registration is closed. Will you be repeating the class on another date or would it be possible to get in on the July 18 class?
Thanks for your inquiry and bringing this to my attention. Registration is not full and has been opened up again so you should be able to register online now. If not, you can still come and register on Thursday at the time of the event (though pre-registration is preferred). Looking forward to seeing you there!
It has been helpful to see that you can show up at the class as I have been really busy and did not check the comments and so did not pre register. I will be there as I want to learn more about Tai Chi and the Bonsai Museum is wonderful.
